About Me

Dr. Roland opened her gastroenterology and gastrointestinal endoscopy practice in 1979. In 1985, a radiologist colleague asked her to review a medicolegal case, and she discovered that this type of work was her cup of tea. Whether it was offering an opinion for a case review or giving testimony, Dr. Roland wanted to do more of it.

She subsequently opened up her own medicolegal practice. Ever since, serving as an expert witness has had a positive impact on her clinical practice, as it introduces her to a wider variety of cases within her specialty and improves both her technique and treatment.

Dr. Roland has now been serving the medicolegal world for years with thoughtful and meticulous work. A board-certified specialist, she has an active internal medicine practice, as well as one in gastroenterology and gastrointestinal endoscopy. Highly experienced as a medicolegal consultant and expert witness, she is an excellent communicator; skilled in the explanation of complex medical issues to juries in a clear, evidence-based manner.
